AI video generator pricing on Bolly is per clip: a 5 second text-to-video clip costs 12 to 95 credits at default settings, about $0.60 to $4.75 at list price, and a 10 second clip costs exactly double.

Figures are as of Sep 29, 2026 and match the credit estimate Bolly shows before you run a model. For plan details see pricing, and for a ranked shortlist see the best AI image-to-video tools. Bolly doesn't run Runway's models, so Runway appears here only as a price comparison.

How Bolly credits work

Credits are reserved when a run starts and refunded automatically if it fails or the model refuses the prompt. A credit is worth about $0.05 at list price, before VAT and local taxes, but what you pay per credit depends on the plan:

  • Free: $0 with 10 credits a day, for image, audio and tool models only.
  • Starter: $19 a month for 300 credits, about $0.063 each.
  • Plus: $59 a month for 1,200 credits (about $0.049 each), or $47 a month billed yearly (about $0.039).
  • Ultra: $129 a month for 3,000 credits (about $0.043), or $99 a month billed yearly (about $0.033).
  • Top-up packs: 500 credits for $29, 1,500 for $79 and 4,000 for $199, about $0.058, $0.053 and $0.05 a credit. Paid plans only.

Monthly plan credits refill each billing month and don't roll over. Top-ups are spent after your monthly credits and don't expire while your plan is active. Ten of the 14 video models run on Starter; Flux 3, Seedance 2, Veo 3.1 and Seedance 2.5 need Plus or Ultra.

What a clip costs, model by model

Each line is a text-to-video clip at the model's default resolution and audio setting, cheapest 5 second price first. The two dollar figures are list price at $0.05 a credit, then the Plus yearly rate of about $0.039 a credit. Some models accept only certain lengths, so those lines show their nearest options.

  • Seedance 2.5, Plus, 720p, audio on: 5 s 95 credits, $4.75 / $3.72; 10 s 190 credits, $9.50 / $7.44.

Luma Ray 3.2's image-to-video mode is priced separately and lower: 6 credits for 5 s ($0.30, or $0.24 on Plus yearly) and 12 for 10 s ($0.60 / $0.47) at 540p. Mix, Bolly's character swap for templates and TikToks, is priced by clip length instead: 76 credits ($3.80 at list) for a 15 second clip, on Starter or above. See Mix.

The cheapest and most expensive routes

The cheapest run on Bolly is a 1 second PixVerse V6 clip at 360p for 1 credit. The cheapest 5 second video is also PixVerse V6 at 360p with audio off: 5 credits, $0.25 at list. Luma Ray 3.2 image-to-video at 540p (6 credits, $0.30) and Gemini Omni at 360p (6 credits) come next.

At the top, Seedance 2 at 4K costs 312 credits for 5 seconds, $15.60 at list. The most expensive single run is a 30 second Seedance 2.5 clip at 1080p: 1,397 credits, $69.85 at list or about $54.72 at the Plus yearly rate, more than the 1,200 credits a Plus plan includes each month.

What changes the price of a clip

  • Length. A 10 second clip costs exactly twice a 5 second one on every model that offers both. Allowed lengths differ: Veo 3.1 takes 4, 6 or 8 seconds, LTX 2.5 takes 6, 8 or 10, Luma Ray 3.2 takes 5 or 10, and Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 go up to 30.
  • Resolution. At 5 seconds, Seedance 2 costs 32 credits at 480p, 61 at 720p, 137 at 1080p and 312 at 4K. Luma Ray 3.2 text-to-video costs 20, 40 and 80 at 540p, 720p and 1080p; PixVerse V6 with audio off costs 5, 12 and 24 at 360p, 720p and 1080p.
  • Audio. Only three models price it separately. Kling 3 costs 34 credits for 5 s with audio and 23 without, PixVerse V6 at 720p costs 14 and 12, and Veo 3.1 costs 64 and 32 for 4 s.
  • Model tier. Faster variants cost less. Veo 3.1 Fast is 24 credits for 4 s against 64 for standard Veo 3.1, LTX 2.5 Fast is 32 for 6 s against 41, and Seedance 2 Mini is 31 for 5 s against 61.
  • Mode. Image-to-video costs the same as text-to-video on Kling 3, Wan 3.0, LTX 2.5, Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1. Luma Ray 3.2 is the exception.

How many clips your monthly credits buy

Counting monthly plan credits only, at default settings, in whole 5 second clips (8 seconds for Veo 3.1), for Starter, Plus and Ultra in that order:

  • PixVerse V6, 12 credits a clip: 25, 100 and 250 clips.
  • H3 Max, 16 credits: 18, 75 and 187.
  • Kling 3, 34 credits: 8, 35 and 88.
  • Wan 3.0, 40 credits: 7, 30 and 75.
  • Seedance 2, 61 credits: 19 and 49 (Plus and Ultra only).
  • Seedance 2.5, 95 credits: 12 and 31 (Plus and Ultra only).
  • Veo 3.1 at 8 seconds, 128 credits: 9 and 23 (Plus and Ultra only).

A 4,000-credit pack adds 333 more PixVerse V6 clips or 42 more Seedance 2.5 clips. New to AI video? Start with how to make AI videos or how to animate a photo.

How credits compare with Runway, Higgsfield and other tools

Credits are not a common currency. Divide each plan's price by its included credits and one credit is worth about $0.003 at Luma Plus, $0.011 at Pika Starter, $0.024 at Runway Standard, $0.063 at Bolly Starter and $0.070 at Higgsfield Starter, a spread of more than 20 times. Competitor figures below are from public pricing pages as of September 2026 (checked Sep 24), and they change often, so confirm on each tool's own page before you buy.

  • Higgsfield: Starter is $19 a month for 270 credits, Plus $59 ($47 billed yearly) for 1,200 and Ultra $129 ($99) for 3,000, so the dollar tiers match Bolly's but Starter has 270 credits to Bolly's 300. Its credits reset monthly, credit packs expire after 90 days, and a small set of models is free to use. See Bolly vs Higgsfield and Higgsfield alternatives.
  • Runway: Standard is $15 a month ($12 billed yearly) for 625 credits, Pro $35 ($28) for 2,250 and Max $95 ($76) for 9,500, and the Free plan gives 125 one-time credits. Max rolls over a month of unused credits, and top-ups never expire. Runway's own models, such as Gen-4.5, Aleph 2.0 and Act-Two, spend those credits at their own rates, so check a clip's credit cost on Runway before comparing. Bolly doesn't run Runway's models. See Bolly vs Runway and Runway alternatives.
  • Kling AI: Standard is 660 credits a month, then Pro 3,000, Premier 8,000 and Ultra 26,000. Plan credits last 31 days and bought credits two years. Standard lists at $8.80 a month on monthly billing, with a first-month discount. See Bolly vs Kling AI and Kling AI alternatives.
  • Google Veo: Flow uses its own credits: AI Plus $4.99 a month for 200, Pro $19.99 for 1,000, Ultra $99.99 or $199.99 for 10,000 or 25,000, plus 50 a day on every account. A Veo 3.1 Fast clip costs 20 credits (10 on Ultra) and a Quality clip 100. See Bolly vs Veo and Veo alternatives.
  • Luma, Pika and PixVerse: Luma Plus is $30 a month for 10,000 credits, Pro $90 for 40,000 and Ultra $300 for 150,000. Pika Starter is $10 for 900 credits; PixVerse Standard is $10 for 1,200 ($8 billed yearly). See Bolly vs Luma, Bolly vs Pika and Bolly vs PixVerse.

Tip: Compare price per finished second, not credits

Divide a clip's credits by its seconds, then multiply by what a credit costs you. Bolly's default clips run from $0.12 a second (PixVerse V6) to $0.95 (Seedance 2.5) at list price, and the same arithmetic works for any tool once you know its credits per clip and its price per credit. It's a budgeting aid, not a quality ranking: resolution, audio, model quality and the number of attempts you need all differ.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free tier?

Yes, but not for video. The Free plan gives 10 credits a day, reset at midnight UTC, for image, audio and tool models. Video, 3D and lipsync models need Starter ($19 a month) or above, and top-up packs are for paid plans only.

Do failed generations cost credits?

No. Credits are reserved when a run starts and refunded automatically if it fails or the model refuses the prompt. A completed generation isn't refunded because you dislike the result, so check the estimate before you run.

Do credits roll over?

Monthly plan credits refill each billing month and don't roll over. Top-up credits don't expire while your plan is active. On the Free plan, the 10 daily credits reset at midnight UTC.

Is yearly billing cheaper?

Yes. Plus is $47 a month billed yearly instead of $59, about 20% less, and Ultra is $99 instead of $129, about 23% less. The monthly credits stay the same at 1,200 and 3,000.

Can I get a refund on a plan or credit pack?

A first subscription payment is refundable within 7 days if you've used under 10% of its credits, and a credit pack within 7 days if none of its credits are used. Renewals are refunded only within 48 hours if no credits were used since. Full terms are on the refund page.

How much does a minute of AI video cost on Bolly?

Add up the seconds. At list price, twelve 5 second clips cost 144 credits ($7.20) on PixVerse V6 and 1,140 credits ($57) on Seedance 2.5, before any retakes. Most finished videos need several attempts per shot, so budget for more than one run.
