The Raindance AI video puts two new people into a scene from the "Raindance" video by Dave and Tems: a wait on a wooden pier, a song by the sea, the two side by side on the sand. Pick one person or both, add a photo for each, and Bolly recasts the scene, song included.
What is the Raindance AI trend?
"Raindance" is a song by Dave and Tems from Dave's album The Boy Who Played the Harp. Released in October 2025, it reached No. 1 in the UK in January 2026. The video, filmed in Lagos, went up on Dave's YouTube channel on January 9, 2026.
The AI trend recasts a passage about a minute into that video. It took off on TikTok in late September 2026. The earliest posts we could date, from September 27, cast game and cartoon characters, and two of them were labelled as made with Higgsfield Genjutsu (see our Genjutsu alternative). Some posts call it the "Radiance trend".
What's in this template
This is a recast, not the official video: the uniform and the red dress are its own. The full trend video runs about 28 seconds, and many posts use a shorter cut. This template keeps the first three shots, about ten seconds in all.
- On the pier. The one in an olive dress uniform with medals sits in low sun, looking out to sea, while a small figure in red walks down the pier.
- By the sea. A close-up of the singer in a red satin halter dress.
- On the sand. The two side by side, the singer gesturing, the one in uniform listening.
How to make a Raindance AI video
Choose who to replace
Under Who do you want to replace? pick Red dress (singing), Uniform (on the pier), or both. The red dress starts selected; a tap adds or drops a person.
Add a photo for each person
One sharp, front-facing photo per person, up to 30 MB. Check that each sits under the right label.
Press Swap me in
Mix comes with every paid plan, and this template is 32 credits a run, for one person or two.
Pick it up in your Library
It usually lands in your Library within a minute or two.
Label it and post
Mark it as AI-generated when you share it.
Who to cast
- You and a partner. The couple version: one of you waits on the pier, the other sings.
- Two friends. Clothes come from each photo, so nobody has to wear the dress or the uniform.
- Two characters. Any clear image of one character works in a photo slot.
- Just you. Pick one chip and the other person stays as filmed.
Photo tips for this clip
- Sharp and front-facing. Even light, nothing over the face.
- One person per photo. A shot of two people leaves the model guessing who goes where.
- Show your hair. The one in uniform is seen mostly in profile and from behind, so hair and build carry the likeness.
- Wear what you want to be seen in. In our tests a red hoodie replaced the dress.
What you get
- About ten seconds, landscape, with the song. MiniMax H3 Max renders whole seconds and makes its own audio, so Mix puts the template's song back on afterwards.
- Your look. Face, hair, skin tone, build and clothing come from each photo.
Why it runs on MiniMax H3 Max
Most Mix templates run on Kling O3, but in our test on this clip it kept the original singer in the close-up. MiniMax H3 Max recast both people in every shot, so Raindance runs on it.
It draws each face anew from your photo, so the likeness is close rather than exact. Framing can change: in one of our tests the shot on the sand came back wider, and some cuts came up to a second early. The small figure in red on the pier stayed as filmed, even with the singer replaced.
What it costs
One run is 32 credits, whether you replace one person or both. Starter is $19 a month with 300 credits, which covers nine runs. Plus covers 37. Compare plans.
Whose face you can use
Your own, or someone who has clearly agreed to be in this video. Never upload a photo of anyone under 18. The song and the clip belong to their owners, so keep your remix personal and non-commercial, and label it as AI-generated when you post. The rules are in the Responsible AI policy.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Raindance AI video?
An AI recast of a scene from the "Raindance" video by Dave and Tems: one person waits on a pier, the other sings by the sea, and the two end up together on the sand.

Is the Raindance AI video free on Bolly?
Mix comes with every paid plan, starting with Starter at $19 a month. That includes 300 credits, enough for nine Raindance runs. The Free plan covers image, audio and tool models.
