Where Bolly differs from Runway
- Whose models: Both platforms carry Veo 3.1, Kling and Seedance. Runway adds its own Gen-4.5, Aleph 2.0 and Act-Two, which Bolly doesn't offer, while Bolly adds five 3D models, such as Meshy 7 and Tripo H3.1, and Runway's published model list has none.
- Meme templates vs. task apps: Bolly's home page is a library of 209 meme templates, and Mix swaps your photo into any of them or into a TikTok clip you paste. Runway's Apps handle tasks like Character Swap, relighting, color grading and product shots on your own footage and images.

Is Bolly cheaper than Runway?
Runway's plans start lower: Standard is $15 a month ($12 billed yearly) for 625 credits, while Bolly's Starter is $19 a month for 300 credits. Credits aren't equal between the two, because every model costs a different amount, so compare the price of the clips you actually make. Bolly's free plan refills 10 credits a day; Runway's gives you 125 credits once.
Can I use Gen-4.5 or Aleph on Bolly?
No. Bolly doesn't offer Runway's own models, including Gen-4.5, Aleph 2.0 and Act-Two. For similar jobs, Bolly has Kling 3, Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1 for text- and image-to-video, Kling O3 video edit for changing existing clips, and Kling motion control for animating a character from a reference video.
Does Runway have a free plan?
Yes. Runway's Free plan gives you 125 credits once, which don't expire but don't refill, along with a limited set of models and 5GB of storage. You can't buy more credits on it, and videos made on it carry a Runway watermark. Bolly's free plan refills 10 credits every day for image, audio and tool models.
Does Runway have templates like Bolly's Mix?
Runway has Apps for set tasks, including Character Swap, which places a character into a scene, and Act-Two performance capture. Bolly's Mix is built around a library of 209 meme templates and TikTok links: add a photo and it swaps that person in, keeping the clip's moves, scene and any original audio. Mix costs about 5 credits per second of clip on Starter and up.
